With a 5.5" touchscreen HD display and a 2MP camera, the charcoal 2nd generation Amazon Echo Show 5 uses video capabilities to expand on traditional Alexa functionality. Equipped with dual-band Wi-Fi and two microphones, the Echo Show 5 connects to your home's wireless network and allows you to intuitively play music, video chat with friends, check the weather and traffic reports, hear sports scores, watch videos, and more. Its compact footprint allows it to sit on your nightstand to help you jump-start your day.
The built-in microphones allow the Echo Show 5 to respond to your voice via its 1.65" driver; with Amazon Alexa built-in, you can ask the Echo Show 5 for the weather and traffic details for your commute, among other things. Bluetooth is also onboard, enabling the Echo Show 5 to wirelessly pair and play audio from a variety of audio sources, such as smartphones and tablets.
Note:
Hands-free voice control is not supported for Mac devices. Bluetooth speakers requiring PIN codes are not supported. Does not support connecting to ad-hoc (or peer-to-peer) Wi-Fi networks.
